Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help sites
remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and serve relevant content.
We also use similar technologies like localStorage for client-side preference storage.
2. How we use cookies
ddash.tech uses three categories of cookies. You can manage your preferences at any time using the banner that appears on your first visit, or by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer.
3. First-party vs third-party cookies
All cookies and storage used by ddash.tech are first-party only. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or social media widgets on this site. If you connect with us via an external link (LinkedIn, for example), that platform's own cookie policy applies.
The ddash AI chat widget served from app.rprand.io operates on a separate
subdomain and may set its own session cookies to maintain conversation state. These are
strictly functional and are not used for tracking.
4. What we collect when you accept analytics
The following data points are captured at the moment of consent and stored locally in your
browser (localStorage key: rprand_visitor):
- Consent level and timestamp
- Landing page URL (including any UTM parameters in the query string)
- Referrer URL
- Page title
- Screen dimensions
- Browser language setting
- Timezone
No name, email, IP address, or device fingerprint is collected at this stage. If you subsequently submit a contact form or job application, that data is handled separately under our Data Processing Addendum.
5. How long cookies last
| Cookie | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
rprand_consent | HTTP cookie | 365 days |
rprand_visitor | localStorage | Until cleared |
rprand_theme | localStorage | Until cleared |
6. Managing your preferences
You have full control over non-essential cookies:
- Banner: On your first visit a cookie banner appears at the bottom-left of the page. Choose "Accept all," "Essential only," or expand "Manage" to toggle categories individually.
- Footer link: A Cookie preferences link in the site footer re-opens the banner at any time so you can update your choices.
- Browser settings: You can delete all cookies via your browser's privacy
settings. Deleting
rprand_consentwill cause the banner to reappear on your next visit.
7. Do Not Track
We respect the DNT header signal. If your browser sends a Do Not Track request,
we treat it as if you selected "Essential only" and do not activate analytics or marketing
data collection regardless of your banner selection.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies evolves or regulations change. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes that require renewed consent will reset the consent banner.
